And the fact Idon't have permanent residency.
So many unknowns. So many fears for this to fail.
There is also maintenance cost of a used house in Japan. But in the long run, I believe it will be worth it. - もちろんありました。数年前に日本へ戻ってきたばかりで永住権を持っていないという事、私にとっては初めての経験ばかりで失敗したくないという思いがありました。
特に日本では住宅の維持にかかるコストも大きいという事もありましたが、長期的にはそれだけの価値があると思います。
- Why did you choose this property?

- Location and Size. We wanted to stay in Kita city, near the train lines we like. Also, for the kids to keep their friends and their schools.
Size because we have three kids and I mostly work from home. So a 5LDK isn't too big at all. Also size of land is important.
A house that we could live in right away without too much work, many used house can't be lived as-is. - 立地と広さ。北区の駅から近いところに住みたかった。また子供達の学校や友達といった環境も守りたかったからです。
私には３人の子供がおり、私自身も自宅にて仕事をしている為、５ＬＤＫという間取は決して大きいものではなく、土地の広さも重要視しました。
さらに中古住宅は手間もかかりますので、そのまま住める家というのもポイントでした。

- Ishibashi-san has been super helpful from the first time we met him. He went
ahead and foresee problems for us coming with solutions ready.
We have talked with many fudosan all year actually and many told us our dream was not possible, we should wait 3 more years. Truly, without Ishibashi-san, it would not have been possible. Thank you. - 石橋さんにお会いした時からとても頼りになりました。彼は私達の希望や問題を先に汲み取り、きちんと解決策を用意して提案してくれました。
私達は不動産についてたくさんの話をしましたし、現実的には難しい希望も伝えました。３年以上待つ事も考えました。
石橋さんがいなかったら、購入は難しかったでしょう。ありがとうございました。

- Land size and location is first. Make sure you own the land and has decent size and location. Then check the house.
Do your own shopping, it makes things easier and faster. Then make sure Ishibashi-san is on your side.
And Don't be afraid to negotiate.
